Oprah to Feature A New Earth Classes
Oprah will feature A New Earth, including interviews with people whose lives have been changed by this original Namaste Publishing book, on this Wednesday’s Oprah show, April 9. As of Monday a week ago, over 11 million people had watched the Monday evening classes either directly or by downloading during the week. Four more classes remain in the series. If you have not participated so far, the classes are free and you can catch up by going to www.oprah.com/, where the link to A New Earth is prominently displayed. On Monday night’s class this week, Oprah especially suggested viewers invite a friend to watch the next class, which she believes will be particularly insightful even for individuals who have so far seen none of the series. The Namaste Publishing Yantra
Namaste Publishing commissioned Ivan Rados (www.ivanrados.com) to create a yantra, based on sacred geometry, to depict the meaning of the word Namaste. Sacred geometry is the language of the cosmos. Namaste is a Sanskrit word that acknowledges the inestimable value of each individual. It is often used to greet and honor others. Translation: "As I acknowledge and honor the Spirit within myself, so do I acknowledge and honor the Spirit within you." The extended meaning of the word has been written as: "I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells. I honor the place in you which is of love, of truth, of light, and of peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are one." When viewing the yantra, you will notice how consciousness rises from the lower portion and comes to a focus in the middle of the lotus flower. The lotus symbolizes enlightenment. From the center of the yantra, the energy moves up to a higher order of existence. It may not be quite as evident that the geometry of this yantra also depicts joining and oneness. To simply meditate on the center of the yantra is sufficient to convey and integrate the meaning energetically.
